Once you download Mine and create your account, you'll immediately be able to access certain features for free. These features include the ability to check your credit score, get a budgeting overview, and access certain financial literacy courses and resources.
However, if you'd like to take advantage of everything Mine has to offer, you'll want to become a Mine Member. Membership requires the payment of a membership fee. This fee helps us keep things running so we can be around to help you build your credit for years to come.
With a Mine membership, there are no hidden fees or interest.
We created Mine to help you build your credit. Mine does not charge any late fees, hidden fees or interest for using its services, including the Mine Card.
How else does Mine make money?
Like most card companies, we also make money from interchange fees every time you swipe your card. You might not know it, but when you use your card at any merchant (in-person or online), the card issuer takes a small percentage (usually around 2%) of that purchase. Mine then takes a portion of this fee. This fee is paid entirely by the merchant, so don’t worry - you’re not on the hook for any additional fees beyond your membership fee. Plus, we value your privacy and don’t sell your data. Read more about how we make money here.
