When you apply for Fizz, we will not perform a credit check. That means:
You will not be declined based on your credit score, or lack of credit
You can apply with no impact to your credit score
How to sign up
Wondering if you're eligible for Fizz? Fizz is for college students with an ".edu" email address. Please check out our eligibility requirements for more information. If you'd like to learn more before signing up, please read more here.
Step 1 - Download the App
Step 2 - Enter your details
Verify your phone number - Verify your phone number by entering the 6-digit code that is sent to you via SMS.
Enter your access or referral code - Fizz is currently available only to customers who have been invited and/or referred others.
Enter your personal details - You'll be asked to enter your name, email, date of birth, address, and social security number.
Upload your government-issued ID - To help combat fraud and comply with the federal government, you may be asked to upload your ID.
Step 3 - Link Your Bank Account
Select your bank and choose the checking account you'd like to use to make payments.
Step 4 - Apply for your line of credit
The last step is applying for a line of credit. As a reminder, whether or not you are approved, there will be no impact to your credit score.
